Leftover Rice Idly
cooked rice idli recipe – the leftover rice makes these idlis ultra soft, fluffy and very light. these idlis are much much softer than the usual idli recipe because of adding curd.

  • Leftover rice – 1cup
  • Rice rawa – 1cup
  • Curd – 1/2cup
  • Green chili – 2
  • Ginger 1inch
  • Carrot 1grated
  • Curry and coriander leaves(little) –
  • Mustard – 1tsp
  • Urad and channa dal – 1tsp
  • Oil : 1 tsp –
  • Salt as taste –
  1. In blender add leftover rice and curd and green chili and ginger
  2. Now add with rice rawa
  3. Ferment for 5-6 hours
  4. Now add carrot and curry leave and coriander
  5. Now temper oil with mustard urad and channa dal and pour in batter
  6. Now pour in idly plate and steam for 15 mins
  7. Now its ready to serve Leftover Rice idly
