Matar mushroom curry is a thick gravy cooked with green peas and mushrooms . It is prepared in a north indian style in a easy way just right to serve with rotis. Matar mushroom is a spicy onion tomato based creamy gravydone with the richness of cashew and fresh cream. i made it with dried peas but you also make it with fresh green peas.

- green peas dried 1 cup(soaked for 2 hr) -
- mushroom 11/2 cup -
- jeera 1 sp -
- ginger garlic paste 1 sp -
- onions 1 cup sliced -
- tomatoes chopped 1 cup -
- Salt to taste -
- garam masala 1/2 sp -
- cashew powder 1 sp -
- turmeric powder 1/2 sp -
- red chilli powder 2 sp. -
- fresh cream 2 sp -
- kasturi methi 1 sp (optional) -

- add onions and cook till soft
- add tomatoes to it turn soft
- add salt cashew powder, garam masala,turmeric powder,redchilli powder,and water
- add mushrooms
- add cooked peas
