  • Corn – ½cup
  • Cashew(soaked) – ¼cup
  • Curd(beaten) – ½cup
  • Onion(finely chopped) – 1no
  • Potato(cubed) – 1no
  • Tomato(finely chopped) – 1no
  • Green chilly(chopped) – 1no
  • Ginger garlic paste – ½tsp
  • Turmeric powder(A pinch) –
  • Red chilly powder – ½tsp
  • Cardamoms – 1no
  • Poppy seeds(Kaskas) – 1tsp
  • Oil 1tbsp
  • Sugar(A pinch) –
  • Salt to taste –
  1. For preparing microwave corn kuruma/korma, cook the corn with potato for 5 minutes in a large microwave safe bowl.
  2. Soak kaskas in 1 tbsp of water and grind well. Keep aside.
  3. Heat the oil in a pan and add the ginger garlic paste. Saute for 2 minutes.
  4. Add chopped onion. When the onion become trasparent add chopped tomato and green chilly. Fry well. 3)Add chilly powder, turmeric powder, salt, sugar and kaskas paste. SautT well.
  5. Now add beaten curd and combine well. Masala for corn kuruma/korma, microwave is ready.
  6. Pour the the masala over the cooked corn and potao. Add the cashewnuts and mix carefully.
  7. Place the bowl in a 100% preheated microwave for 5 minutes.
  8. Garnish with chopped coriander.
