Millet Masoor Dal Kanji
Millet masoor dal kanji is a perfect whole meal porridge for diet lovers. Masoor dal has soluble fibre, and millets are one of the best kept secrets in our ancient times to lead a healthy life style. To make the kanji or porridge tasty and delicious we add thin coconut milk to it along with few vegetables.

  • masoor dal 2 tbsp –
  • any millet 1/4 cup –
  • thin coconut milk 1/2 cup –
  • Salt to taste –
  • boiled peas and carrots 1/4 cup –
  1. soak masoor dal and any millet together for 1/2 an hour
  2. when cooked mash it finely
  3. add thin coconut milk and salt to it simmer for few mins.
  4. add boiled peas , grated carrots and serve hot or cold.
