Ingredients
Allpurpose flour(Maida) –
1½
cup
Jaggery
(Sharkkara) –
½
cup
Cardamom
powder(Elakka) –
1/4
tbsp
Ghee
–
1
tbsp
Water
–
1
cup
Instructions
Heat
water
along with
jaggery
until it dissolves in the
water
. Strain and leave it to cool.
Mix together flour,
cardamom
powder and
ghee
along with the
jaggery
water
.
Knead them to make a stiff dough.
Make small parts of the above dough and roll them into 4″ rounds.
Keep them aside so as to make them a bit dry.
Fry them in hot
ghee
until the colour becomes golden.
Drain and leave it to cool till the khajas becomes crisper.
:- Serve it or store in an airtight container.
