Ingredients
  • Omapodi – 2cups
  • Ribbon pakoda – 1cup
  • Kara boondhi – 2cups
  • Flattened rice(Aval/Poha) – 1cup
  • Split gram – 100gm
  • Peanuts(roasted) – 200gms
  • Cashewnuts(roasted) – 100gm
  • Curry leaves(A few, fried) –
  • Salt(As reqd) –
  • Chilly powder(As reqd) –
  • Sugar 1tsp
  • Asafoetida powder(Kayam) – 1tsp
Instructions
  1. Prepare omapodi, ribbon pakoda and kara boondhi. Reduce the quantity of the salt while preparing them.
  2. Fry the flattened rice well and keep aside.
  3. Mix together split gram, roasted peanuts, cashew nuts and curry leaves in a big dish.
  4. Add gradually, the flattened rice along with omapodi, ribbon pakoda and kara boondhi.
  5. Finally, add salt, chilly powder, asafoetida powder and a pinch of sugar. Mix well again.
