  1. Soak rice for 1 hour, Wash well, drain and dry it in shade.
  2. Run it in a mixer and powder it.
  3. Heat water, add a pinch of salt and pour the boiling water to the rice mixture and make a dough.
  4. Roast sesame seeds and grated coconut with little ghee.
  5. Grind to a powder with jaggery.
  6. Pluck small balls of the dough, fill with jaggery powder and close all sides. Steam it for 5 minutes.
  7. Serve modhagams.
