Ingredients
- Mussels(cleaned) - 1/2 kg
- Potatoes(peeled and cubed) - 3 nos
- Chilly powder - 2 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1 tsp
- Ginger(garlic paste - 1 tsp) -
- Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
- Coriander leaves(finely chopped) - 2 springs
- Oil(As reqd) -
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- For preparing mussels on potato bed, marinate mussels in a mixture of chilly powder, pepper powder, ginger-garlic paste and salt over night.
- Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the mussels on low heat till light brown in colour.
- Drain the water and mash the potatoes with the back of the fork.
- Spread the mashed potato on a plate and sprinkle pepper powder.
- On top of the potato bed spread the fried mussels.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and lemon juice.
- Mussels on potato bed is ready. Serve hot.
