Ingredients
Mussels(cleaned) –
1/2
kg
Potatoes(peeled and cubed) –

Chilly powder –
2
tsp
Pepper powder

Ginger

garlic
paste – 1 tsp) –
Lemon juice –

Coriander leaves(finely chopped) –

Oil
(As reqd) –

Instructions
For preparing mussels on
potato
bed, marinate mussels in a mixture of chilly powder,
pepper powder
,
ginger
-
garlic
paste and
salt
over night.
Heat
oil
in a pan and shallow fry the mussels on low heat till light brown in colour.
Pressure cook the potatoes with
salt
and
water
.
Drain the
water
and mash the potatoes with the back of the fork.
Spread the mashed
potato
on a plate and sprinkle
pepper powder
.
On top of the
potato
bed spread the fried mussels.
Garnish with coriander leaves and lemon juice.
Mussels on
potato
bed is ready. Serve hot.
