  • Mutton(cooked with enough stock) – 1kg
  • Onion(chopped, large) – 1no
  • Kashmiri Chilly powder – 2tbsp
  • Garlic pods(whole) – 2nos
  • Coriander powder 1tbsp
  • Cinnamon stick(Karugapatta) – 1no
  • Cloves(Grambu) – 3nos
  • Vinegar – 1tbsp
  • Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) – 1tsp
  • Oil(As reqd) –
  • Curry leaves(As reqd) –
  • Coriander leaves(As reqd) –
  • Salt(As reqd) –
  1. For preparing the delicious chilly fry, first grind together red chilly powder, coriander powder, garlic, cinnamon stick, cloves, cumin and vinegar.
  2. Heat oil in a kadai or wok.
  3. Fry onions in it.
  4. Add the ground masala and fry well.
  5. Add the boiled mutton and a little of the mutton soup from the cooker.
  6. Add salt if required and fry well, till you see oil come out.
  7. Add curry leaves and coriander leaves.
  8. :- Enjoy with rice.
