Ingredients
Meat –
1/4
kg
Potato
(steamed and mashed) –
3
nos
Garlic
pods(finely chopped, big) –
5
nos
Ginger
(finely chopped) –
1″
piece
Green peppers(finely chopped) –
6
nos
Onions(finely chopped) –
3
nos
Garam masala
powder(preferably Melam) –
2
tsp
Salt
(As reqd) –
Egg
(beaten) –
1

Vegetable
oil
for frying –
Instructions
Steam the potatoes and mash them.
Cook the chunks of meat with
salt
and mince them.
Heat 2 tbsp of
oil
in a frying pan.
Saute onions,
ginger
and
garlic
, till the onions turn brown.
Add meat and
garam masala
and continue to saute for a minute or two.
Cool the mixture for a while.
Mix the above mixture with the mashed potatoes.
Make small oval shaped cutlets off the above mixture.
Dip them in beaten
egg
.
Deep fry in
oil
.
Recipe Notes
You can also use
bread crumbs
to roll the cutlet after dipping in
egg
.
