Nadan Kadachakka Thoran
Kadachakka Thoran is a traditional styled Malayalee dish very popular in Kerala Cuisine. Kadachakka, also termed Breadfruit is a seasonal fruit widely cultivated in Kerala.   1. For preparing the delicious stir fry, first wash and chop kadachakka into pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a kadai and add mustard seeds. When mustard splutters, add red chilly and curry leaves. Stir for a minute.
  3. Add chopped kadachakka pieces to this and add turmeric powder. Saute for a minute.
  4. Add 1 cup water to this and cook in low flame with a covered lid until the kadachakka pieces are done. Keep this aside.
  5. Heat grated coconut in another pan add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder and gram masala. Saute for 2 minute until coconut turns brown.
  6. When coconut becomes brown then switch off stove.
  7. Grind this mix in mixer with onion pieces to a coarse mixture.
  8. Add this ground mix to kadachakka mix in the kadai. Mix well and stir for 2 minutes.
  9. Now kadachakka thoran is ready.
