Ingredients
  • Potato(diced, big) – 2nos
  • Carrot(diced, big) – 1no
  • Tomato(diced) – 2nos
  • Beans(optional)(diced) – 4nos
  • Cauliflower(optional) –
  • Thick coconut milk 1cup
  • Thin coconut milk 2cups
  • Lemon juice(optional) – 1tsp
  • Salt(As reqd) –
  • For Masala: –
  • Coriander leaves – 3/4cup
  • Ginger 2″piece
  • Garlic pods – 7nos
  • Black pepper – 1tsp
  • Green chillies 2nos
  • Cloves(Grambu) – 6nos
  • Cinnamon(Karugapatta) – 1″piece
  • Cardamom(Elakka) – 2nos
  • Aniseeds(Perinjeerakam) – 1/2tsp
Instructions
  1. Grind together all the ingredients for the masala.
  2. Boil vegetables with second extract of coconut milk, ground masala and salt.
  3. Once cooked, add first extract of coconut milk.
  4. When it starts to boil, remove from flame.
  5. Add lemon juice.
  6. :- Serve hot with chappathis, idiyappams or dosas.
