  1. First in heat oil in a kadai add 2 tsp of oil and add mustards .when mustard crackles, add palak ,salt and turmeric powder and cook f or 2 minutes.
  2. Add half ground coconut, cumin seeds, green chilly and onions to this palak.
  3. Mix well properly and allow it to cook till it becomes dry on a low flame.
  4. Mix continuously for 5 minutes.Now palak thoran is ready to serve.
  5. Serve with hot chappathi or with side dish for rice.
