  • Raw Rice(pachari) – 1cup
  • Coconut(grated) – 1cup
  • Cooked rice – 1cup
  • Yeast – 1/2tsp
  • Sugar 1tsp
  • Warm water 1tbsp
  1. Mix yeast, sugar and warm water to ferment(it will take 10 mints).
  2. Grind together pachari, rice and grated coconut with water.
  3. Make the batter mix with yeast and little salt. keep it aside for 7 hrs.
  4. Make palappam using appachatti.
