  1. Grind soaked rice and jaggery water into a smooth semi thick paste.
  2. Add bananas and grind well.
  3. Pour into a large bowl and add maidha,cardamom powder and a pinch of salt.combine well
  4. Heat oil and rop the batter little by little and deep fry over a medium flame until the color changes into golden brown
  5. Soft and tasty Palayam Kodan Appam is ready now.
