  1. For preparing papaya – cherupayar thoran, first heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds and fry onion.
  2. Then add red chilly and curry leaves to it.
  3. Add the grated papaya to it.
  4. Then add red onion, ginger, green chillies, turmeric powder and salt to it and stir well.
  5. Add the grated coconut and mix it well.
  6. Cover the with pan with a lid and cook it.
  7. Remove the lid after some time and add the cooked cherupayar to it and mix well.
  8. Add the curry leaves to it and cover it with a lid and cook for some more time.
  9. Take it from flame and convert it to serving dish.
  10. Papaya-cherupayar thoran, a tasty recipe is ready. Serve it with rice.
