  1. For preparing peppery mussels, heat the oil in a pressure cooker and splutter mustard seeds.
  2. Saute the onions till golden brown in color
  3. Add ginger-garlic paste and fennel seed powder.
  4. Then add in the mussels.
  5. Sprinkle tomatoes, garam masala, cumin seeds, coriander powder, pepper powder, chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt. Mix well, close the lid and allow it to cook.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  7. Peppery mussels are ready. Serve hot with chappathis or roti`s.
