  • Khoya(grated) – 500gm
  • Powdered sugar 300gm
  • Food colour(optional) – 2-3drops
  • Cardamom powder(Elakka) – 1/2tsp
  • Pistachios (sliced)(Pista) – 8-10nos
  1. Mix khoya with sugar in a kadai or a pan.
  2. Heat on low flame, stirring continuously.
  3. Cook till the mixture thickens to form a very soft lump. This should take about 10 minutes.
  4. Add cardamom powder & food colour. Mix well.
  5. Take a small fistful of mixture and press into the cookie mould and turn out carefully.
  6. Press 2-3 slices of pistachios in the center of the mixture.
  7. Repeat the procedure for the remaining mixture.
