  • Milk - 2 cups
  • Corn flour - 2 tsp
  • Sugar(As reqd) -
  • Green colour - 1 drop
  • Cardamom powder(A pinch, Elakka podi) -

  • Ghee - 2 tbsp
  • Salt(A pinch) -

Instructions
  1. For preparing pistachio kheer, in a bowl mix in 1/4 cup milk and corn flour. Mix it well avoiding lumps and keep aside.
  2. Boil remaining milk, add the corn flour milk mixture and mix it well continuously.
  3. Allow it to simmer for 10 minutes until it starts becoming thick.
  4. Add sugar and mix well until it is dissolved.
  5. Now add in the crushed pistachios and a drop of green colour to the boiling milk. Mix it well and allow it to boil for 5 more minutes.
  6. Sprinkle cardamom powder and salt. Mix well.
  7. Heat ghee in a small vessel and sautT the flaked pistachios.
  8. Garnish pistachio kheer with sauteed flaked pistachios and remove it from the flame.
  9. Allow it to cool for 5 minutes and place it in the fridge.
  10. Pistachio kheer is ready. Serve chilled.
