Ingredients
Mint leaves
(A handful, Pudhina) –
Gram flour
(Kadalapodi/Besan) –
1
cup
Rice flour(Ari podi) –
1/2
cup
Butter –
1
tsp
Chilly powder –
1
tsp
Salt
(As reqd) –
Asafoetida(A pinch, Kayam) –
Oil
for frying –
Instructions
Clean the pudhina leaves and grind it to a paste in a mixer grinder.
Mix together
gram flour
, rice flour,
salt
, asafoetida, chilly powder and the pudhina paste.
Add butter and knead it to a dough.
Heat
oil
in a pan or a kadai.
Place the dough in a murukku maker and squeeze it into the
oil
.
When it is done, remove from the
oil
.
:- Serve with tea.
