  1. first heat a pan add oil in it, when its hot put mustard in it
  2. when it splutters add green chilly ,curry leaves and ginger to it.
  3. saut it well and then add red chilly powder to it.
  4. then add dates to it(remove seeds) and sauté it well.
  5. then to this add jaggery and sauté well.
  6. then when these form a pulpy state add the tamarind water to it.
  7. then allow it to get boiled and add salt to it.
  8. then transfer to the serving dish.
Recipe Notes

if we add more water also its good to taste. its usually taken along with ghee rice and biryani. if we use fried cashew with it ,it will be good.
