- Chick Peas - 250 g
- Coriander leaves(A bunch) -
- Onions - 4 nos
- Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1 tsp
- Green chillies(chopped) - 2 nos
- garlic - 10 cloves
- Tamarind pulp - 1/4 cup
- Chilly powder - 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Oil(As reqd) -

Instructions
- For preparing punjabi chola, soak the chick peas over night.
- Take a pressure cooker and cook the chick peas till soft.
- Grind cumin seeds, green chillies, chilly powder, garlic and turmeric powder.
- Fry onions and the ground paste.
- Add in the cooked chick peas and salt. Cook for 10 minutes.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Punjabi chola is ready. Serve with chapathi, rice, bread, etc.
