For the caramel:-
For the custard:-
  1. Grease an aluminium mould (or non stick) with butter or ghee.
  2. Spread the 3 tbsp of sugar evenly on its base.
  3. Heat the mould.
  4. When the sugar starts turning brown, add 1 tbsp water and heat for a few seconds.
  5. Keep the mould aside.
  6. Add the milk, eggs, sugar, and cardamom into a mixie and blend well till frothy.
  7. Strain the custard through a strainer and pour into the mould.
  8. Steam for 5 – 10 mins or until set.
  9. :- The steamer should have started steaming before placing the custard.
  10. Chill in the freezer for 10 mins and then move it to the fridge.
  11. Turn the pudding into a serving plate.
  12. Decorate it with cherries or caramelised cashew nuts.
  13. :- This is a very easy dessert and a definite success.
