Ingredients
rawa/
semolina

Water
(boiled) –

onions sliced –

ginger
finely chopped –

green chilies slit –

Urad dal –

Curry leaves

Instructions
Heat
ghee
in a pan. Add
mustard seeds
/ rye. After it splutters add the urad dal and fry till it turns golden brown in color.
Optional- Add cashews and by the time, the cashews get browned the dal would also get browned.
Add the
curry leaves
, slit green chilies and finely chopped
ginger
and stir fry for a minute.
Add the sliced
onion
and sautT for 2-3 minutes.
Add the
semolina
/rawa and mix all the ingredients well. Roast the rawa for 10 minutes on a low flame, stirring all the while.
After the rawa has been roasted well add the
sugar
,
salt
and boiling
water
.
Cover the pan and leave to cook for 5 minutes or till the
water
has dried up.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
