  1. Remove all the internal organs, scrape off the scales from the skin using a knife and trim the wings. Remove head and tail.
  2. Clean the whole red snapper under the running water. To remove any fishy smell spread little salt on it and rinse with water.
  3. Using a sharp knife, put lines on the cleaned fish.
  4. In a bowl combine the ingredients, chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, curry leaves, lemon juice and add little water to make a smooth paste to marinate the fish.
  5. Spread it over the fish inside and out side. keep aside for 10 – 15 minutes.
  6. Heat oil in a tawa place the fish. Fry each side for about 5 minutes [ depend upon the thickness of the fish].
  7. Remove into a plate and sprinkle some lime juice on the fish fry.
