- Raw Rice(soaked, Pachari) - 2 cups
- Split Black gram(soaked, Uzhunnu) - 2 1/2
- Green chillies(finely chopped) - 4 nos
- Onion(finely chopped) - 1 no
- Oil(As reqd) -
- Salt(A reqd) -

Instructions
- For preparing medu vada, grind raw rice and split black gram separately. Mix it well together.
- Add in the green chillies, onion and salt. Mix well.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
- Take a bit of the mixture in your wet hands and make a hole in the middle. Deep fry it in oil.
- Rice vada`s are ready. Serve hot with chutney.
