  • Sago(Chowwary) – 1cup
  • Ground nuts(roasted and ground) – 1/2cup
  • Potato(cooked and mashed) – 1no
  • Green chillies(finely chopped) – 1no
  • Oil(As reqd) –
  • Salt(As reqd) –
  1. For preparing sago/chowwary vada, soak sago in water for 3 hours.
  2. Mix sago, ground nut powder, potato, green chillies and salt. Mix well to form a vada texture.
  3. Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
  4. Take a bit of the mixture in your wet hands and make a hole in the middle. Deep fry it in oil.
  5. Sago/chowwary vada`s are ready. Serve hot with chutney.
