Semiya Baghalabath
Semiya Bagalabath is prepared just like curd rice and instead of rice semiya is used.It is easier and tastier option. .It tastes good when served chilled so i prepare much ahead of time and put it in the fridge garnished with a lot of fruits.It is so simple that even a ten year old can make it!!!

  • Roasted vermicelli 1 pack –
  • Curd : 1 cup –
  • Onion : 1 no –
  • Green chili 1 no. –
  • red chili 1 no. –
  • Ginger : small piece –
  • cashew 5 no. –
  • Salt to taste –
  • mustard 1/4 tsp –
  • curry leaves 1 sprinkle –
  • grated carrot to garnish –
  1. Boil vermicelli in one and half cups water with a little salt and a tsp of oil.
  2. chop the onion, green chili, red chili, cashews and ginger
  3. heat the oil and temper the mustard, curry leaves and saute the onion, green chili, red chili, ginger and cashew
  4. transfer to boiled vermicelli and mix it
  5. add curd and mix well
  6. now semiya bagalabath is ready, garnish with grated carrot, if needed can add some fruits
