Ingredients
- Semolina/Rava(soaked for 1 hour) - 1 1/2 cups
- Split Black gram(soaked for 4 hours, Uzhunnu parippu) - 1 cup
- Curry leaves(finely chopped) - 1 spring
- Onion(finely cubed) - 1 no
- Beetroot(peeled and grated) - 1/2 cup
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- For preparing semolina beetroot idly¦s, grind semolina and split black gram together.
- Mix it with salt.
- Keep it overnight to ferment.
- Mix in the grated beetroot, onion and curry leaves well.
- Steam it in an idly steamer till done.
- Remove it from the steamer and allow it to cool.
