Ingredients
- Shallots/small onions(peeled, Kunjulli) - 1/2 kg
- Ginger(finely chopped) - 1 inch
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Chilly powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Jaggery(ground, Sharkara) - 1/2 tbsp
- Tamarind pulp - 1 tbsp
- Coriander leaves(finely chopped) - 5 springs
- Curry leaves - 2 springs
- Oil(As reqd) -
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- For preparing shallots curry, heat oil in a pan.
- Saute turmeric powder, chilly powder, coriander powder, ginger and salt for 1 minute.
- Add in the shallots and required water. Allow it to cook till it becomes tender.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and remove it from the flame.
- Shallots curry is ready. Serve hot.
