Shrimps with cucumber and other ingredients

- Shrimps(cleaned) - 250 g
- Cucumber(finely cubed) - 250 g
- garlic - 100 g
- Ginger - 100 g
- Green chillies(finely chopped) - 1 tsp
- garlic(finely chopped) - 1 tsp
- Ginger(finely chopped) - 1 tsp
- Chilly powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Fenugreek seeds(Uluva) - 1/2 tsp
- Kashmiri Chilly powder - 4 tbsp
- Asafoetida powder - 1 tsp
- Curry leaves(finely chopped) - 3 tsp
- Vinegar - 1/4 cup
- Sesame oil - 200 g
- Mustard seeds - 1 1/2 tsp
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- For preparing shrimps-cucumber pickle, in a bowl marinate the shrimps and cucumber with salt, chilly powder and turmeric powder. Keep it aside.
- Blend fenugreek seeds, 100g garlic, 100g ginger, kashmiri chilly powder, salt and asafoetida to a fine paste. Keep it aside.
- Heat sesame oil in a vessel and splutter the mustard seeds.
- Add in the ground masala and sautT it till it becomes light brown in colour.
- Then toss in the finely chopped garlic, finely chopped ginger, green chillies and curry leaves. Saute it for 2 minutes.
- Mix in vinegar and salt.
- When it starts to simmer, toss in the marinated shrimps and cucumber. Allow it to cook and then remove it from the flame.
- Shrimps-cucumber pickle is ready. Allow it to cool completely and store it in a bottle.
