Ingredients
- Cabbage(finely chopped) - 2 cups
- Garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
- Sugar - 1/2 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1/2 tsp
- Split chickpeas - 1 tbsp
- Green chillies(slit) - 2 nos
- Turmeric powder - 1 tbsp
- Asafoetida powder(A pinch, Kayam) -
- Coconut(grated) - 1 tbsp
- Coriander leaves(chopped) - 2 springs
- Oil(As reqd) -
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- For preparing special cabbage, heat oil in a vessel, splutter mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
- Add in asafoetida, turmeric powder, green chillies and split chickpeas. Saute it for some time.
- Add garlic paste, salt and curry leaves. Stir it well, cover and allow it to cook on low flame for 1 minute.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and grated coconut.
- Special cabbage is ready. Serve hot with chapathi.
