  • Milk 1cup
  • Sugar(As reqd) –
  • Cinnamon(powdered, Karugapatta) – 2sticks
  • Cloves(powdered, Grambu) – 2nos
  • Peppercorns(crushed) – 1/2tsp
  • Cardamom(crushed, Elakka) – 5nos
  • Ginger(crushed) – 1inch
  • basil leaves(Tulasi) – 3leaves
  • Tea powder – 2tsp
  • Water 1 1/2cups
  1. For preparing spicy tea, boil water in a vessel with cinnamon powder, cloves powder, cardamom, ginger, basil leaves and add tea powder. Allow it to boil for 2 minutes
  2. Pour in the milk and allow it to simmer for 1 minute.
  3. Strain the tea and add sugar. Mix it well.
  4. Spicy tea is ready. Serve immediately.
