- Basmati rice(cooked) - 2 cups
- Spinach leaves(finely chopped) - 1 cup
- Dry red chillies(broken) - 2 nos
- Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Green chillies(finely chopped) - 1 tsp
- Cashew nuts(halved) - 4 tbsp
- Oil(As reqd) -
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- For preparing spinach biryani, heat oil in a vessel and splutter cumin seeds.
- Add in dry red chillies, green chillies and garlic paste. Saute it for 1 minute.
- Toss in the cashew nuts and fry it for another 1 minute on low flame.
- Then add in spinach leaves, turmeric powder and salt.
- Mix in the cooked basmati rice, cover and allow it to cook on low flame.
- Spinach biriyani is ready. Serve hot.
