  1. For preparing split green gram soup, soak split green gram, tuvar dal and orange lentils in water for one hour.
  2. Cook split green gram, tomatoes, garlic, tuvar dal, green peas and orange lentils with required water in a pressure cooker.
  3. Blend it and keep aside.
  4. Heat butter in pan on low flame.
  5. Add the blended mixture with required water and salt. Allow it to cook till it becomes semi thick.
  6. Sprinkle required pepper powder.
  7. Split green gram soup is ready. Serve immediately.
