  • Cooked rice – 1/2cup
  • Peanuts – 2tsp
  • Moong bean sprouts – 1/2cup
  • Cumin seeds 1tsp
  • Tomato(pureed in a mixer) – 1nos
  • Garlic paste – 1tsp
  • Pepper powder 1/4tsp
  • Salt 1tsp
  • Oil 2tsp
  • Chilly powder – 1tsp
  1. Heat oil in a kadai, add peanuts.Fry till they start to change color.Then take out keep aside.
  2. Reduce flame add cumin seeds,stir fry till golden brown,add chopped onionsand garlic paste and stir for a minute.
  3. Add tomato puree this and stir for 2 minutes.
  4. Add the sprouts and cook for 3 minutes on low flame.
  5. Add salt and pepper powder chilly powder and coriander leaves ,cook till mixture is dry.
  6. Add cooked rice to this and mix gently for 1-2 minutes.
  7. Now sprouty peanut tomato rice is ready.
