  1. For preparing squid in dry coconut gravy, heat oil in a pan.
  2. Splutter mustard seeds.
  3. Add the onion, tomatoes, chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt.
  4. SautT for 2 minutes on low flame till the onions become transparent.
  5. Add the curry leaves and squids.
  6. Pour enough water and allow the squids to cook.
  7. Allow the gravy to dry completely.
  8. Pour in the coconut milk and allow it to simmer till dry.
  9. Add the coriander leaves and pepper powder. Mix well and remove it from the flame.
  10. Squid in dry coconut gravy is ready. Serve hot with bread, chapatti, dosa etc.
