Ingredients
  • Raw rice powder – 1/2kg
  • Roasted groundnut paste – 200g
  • Jaggery(sharkara) – 500g
  • Banana(ground) – 500g
  • Coconut(grated) – 200g
  • Cashew nuts – 100g
  • Cardamom(crushed) – 1tsp
  • Soda powder – 1tsp
  • Salt(As reqd) –
Instructions
  1. For preparing sweet rice balls, caramelize the jaggery and strain it.
  2. Mix soda powder, rice powder and salt.
  3. Mix well. Add cardamom, cashew nut, groundnut paste, coconut and banana.
  4. Add the jaggery and smooth batter.
  5. Keep the batter for 4 hours.
  6. Pour it in unniappa chatti and fry it. Sweet rice balls are ready.
