- Potatoes(peeled and chopped) - 1/2 cup
- Carrot(peeled and chopped, small) - 1 no
- Cauliflower(chopped) - 1/2 cup
- Capsicum(chopped) - 1/2 cup
- Onion(finely sliced) - 2 nos
- Cloves(Grambu) - 4 nos
- Cardamom(Elakka) - 4 nos
- Whole star anise(Thakkolam) - 2 nos
- Green chillies(slit) - 4 nos
- Dry red chillies(flaked) - 2 nos
- Madras masala paste - 3 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Tamarind juice - 4 tbsp
- Sugar(A pinch) -
- Coriander leaves(chopped) - 4 springs
- Water(As reqd) -
- Oil(As reqd) -
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- Add in cardamom, dry red chillies, madras masala paste, turmeric powder, green chillies, cloves and star anise. Saute it for some time.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Tamarind juice veggies is ready. Serve hot with rice, chappathi etc.
