Ingredients
- Mussels(cleaned) - 500 g
- Onions(sliced) - 2 nos
- Green chillies(chopped) - 2 nos
- Ginger(garlic paste - 1 tbsp) -
- Chilly powder - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
- Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1 tsp
- Coconut milk powder - 1/2 cup
- Tamarind paste - 1 tsp
- Curry leaves(A few) -
- Oil(As reqd) -
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- For preparing thick coconut mussel curry, heat oil in a vessel and saute onions, green chillies, ginger-garlic paste, salt and curry leaves till it becomes transparent.
- Add in the chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder and garam masala.
- Add in the mussels and tamarind paste. Allow it to cook.
- Once the mussels are done, pour in the coconut paste and mix well.
- Allow it to simmer till the gravy becomes thick.
- Thick coconut mussel curry is ready. Serve hot.
