  1. Heat oil in a kadai add mustard.When mustard splutters add red chilly and curry leaf saute for 2 minutes.
  2. Add chopped beans to this and stir for 2 minutes.
  3. Add grated carrot and salt to this and saute for 3 minutes on low flame.
  4. Grind coconut,onion,cumin seeds and chilli powder in a mixer.
  5. Add this ground mix to carrot beans mix and mix all together for 2 minutes in low flame.
  6. Add 1 cup of water to this and boil for 5 minutes until it is cooked well.
  7. Sir for 2 more minutes until full water dries up.
  8. Now carrot beans thoran is ready to serve with hot rice.
