Ingredients
  • Plain cake – 50g
  • Milk 1/2litre
  • Sugar 2tbsp
  • Jelly crystals – 1pkt
  • Custard powder – 4tbsp
  • Whipped cream(for topping) –
  • Almond/Cherries(to decorate) –
  • Boiling water(As reqd) –
Instructions
  1. For preparing trifles, prepare the custard using milk, sugar and custard powder. Allow it cool.
  2. Dissolve 1 packet of jelly in 450 ml of boiling water.
  3. Break the plain cake into small pieces and set in the jelly.
  4. When the jelly is set, pour the cool custard on the top.
  5. Make the topping of the trifle with the whipped cream.
  6. Garnish it with almond and cherries.
  7. Trifles are ready. Serve chilled.
