Unni Madhuram
Unni madhuram is a sweet and simple snack made with bread and ripe plantains. Only few ingredients are used to prepare this fried balls. It vanishes in no time if you have banana lovers.

  • Ripe plantains – 3
  • Bread slices – 6
  • Sugar 3tbsp
  • Roasted cashew nuts – 6
  • Cardamom powder – 1/2tsp
  • Oil(for frying) –
  1. Make bread crumbs by crushing bread slices in a mixer.
  2. Take a bowl and add chopped banana,half of bread crumbs,roasted cashew nuts,sugar and cardamom powder.mix well with hand and make a dough.
  3. Then make small balls out of the dough.
  4. Roll each balls in remaining bread crumbs.
  5. Heat coconut oil and deep fry each balls on medium flamme until golden brown in colour.
  6. Tasty unni madhuram is ready.
