Urundai Mor Kuzhambu
This is a traditional recipe and it is good taste and healthy too. This is not a common mor kuzhambu. We add paruppu urundai to combo for this with rice.

  • Toordal – 1cup
  • Butter Milk 1cup
  • Coconut 1/4cup
  • Raw Rice 1tsp
  • Dry & Green chilly – 5&
  • Jeera – 1/2tsp
  • Coriander seed – 1tbsp
  • Curry leaves 1string
  • Onion(chopped) – 2
  • Oil 2tbsp
  • Mustard – 1tsp
  • Fenugreek – 1/4tsp
  • Asafeot –
  1. Soak toor dal for 2 hours
  2. In a jar, add coconut soaked rice and 1 tsp of toor dal and coriander seeds, dry chilly 1 no and green chilly 2 numbers. then add jeera grind smooth paste.
  3. Grind red chilly and toor dal coarsely.
  4. Add chopped onions and salt, then mix well.
  5. Now make a small balls of the mixture and steam for 10 minutes.
  6. Now add that grind mixture with mor or curd mix well add turmeric, salt
  7. In a pan add oil temper mustard, fenugreek, 1 dry chilly and curry leaves.
  8. Now add the mor mixture.
  9. When it boil add balls and cook for 5 minutes
  10. When it bubbles turn off the flame. Now it is ready to serve.
