  • Black gram(Uzhunnuparippu) – 2glass
  • Onion(cut into small pieces, big) – 1no
  • Salt(As reqd) –
  • Green chillies(cut into small pieces) – 2nos
  • Pepper – 1tsp
  • Curry leaves(cut into small pieces) –
  • Ginger(cut into small pieces) – 1″piece
  • Soda powder – 1/4tsp
  1. 1)Soak the dal in water for some time. 2)Grind it with 1/4 cup of water. :- It would be better if u don`t add water. 3)Add salt and grind again. 4)Add the rest of the ingredients to this ground dal and mix well. 5)Pat hands with water. 6)Make balls off the paste and make patties. 7)Make a hole in between the Uzhunnu Vada patties. 8)Deep fry Uzhunnu Vada in oil till golden brown in colour. :- Serve Uzhunnu Vada/Minapappu vada/Uddina vade/Ulundhu vadai hot with chutney or sambhar.
