- Vermicelli(roasted) - 1 cup
- Semolina - 1/2 cup
- Carrot - 1
- Beans - 4
- Tomato - 1 large
- Potato - 1
- Onion - 1
- Capsicum -
- Green chilly - 3
- Dry red chilly - 4
- Mustard - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Ghee - 3 tbsp
- Curry leaves(little) -
- Coriander leaves(little) -

- Cut all the vegetables and keep aside
- Heat ghee in a kadai,add mustard seeds and allow them to sputter.add dry red chilly,curry leaves and onion into it,saute it for 2-3 minutes.
- Add chopped carrot,beans,tomatoes,capsicum,potato,turmeric powder,salt to taste and mix well
- Pour one cup water and cook covered on low flame until vegetables become soft for around 4-5 minutes
- Add vermicelli/semiya to it
- Turn off the flame and transfer vermicelli vegetable upma to a serving plate.garnish it with curry leaves
