For preparing the tasty dish, dry fry the wheat rava in a pan. Fry to a golden brown color. Stir fry in very low flame otherwise broken wheat will get burned.
Boil the required quantity of water in a bowl or pan. Be very specific while adding water. The measurement should be correct.
Add colour powder and wheat rava mixing well. Stir well while adding to avoid lumps. Lumps will destroy the sweet dish.
Allow the wheat rava to cook for 15 minutes in medium flame until the wheat rava gets cooked properly. Wheat rava should become smooth and soft.
In another pan, heat the ghee and fry the cashews.
Transfer the fried cashews into the kesari dish and add cardamom powder. Mix well.
Now add sugar and mix well and allow to cook until the wheat rava becomes in kesari consistency. Keep stirring in low flame so that kesari will not stick to bottom of pan. You can see the ghee breaking forth as bubbles on the top surface.
