Grated carrot with urad dhal and other ingredients

Ingredients
- Split gram dhal/Urad dhal(Uzhunnu parippu) - 2 cups
- Carrot(peeled and grated) - 1 cup
- Coriander leaves(chopped) - 5 springs
- Ginger Paste - 1 tsp
- Curry leaves(finely chopped) - 2 springs
- Green chillies(finely chopped) - 3 nos
- Pepper corns(crushed) - 1 tbsp
- Oil(As reqd) -
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- Drain and blend it(do not add too much of water while blending). It should have a very thick consistency.
- Put the blended mixture in a bowl.
- Add in salt, grated carrot, pepper powder, green chillies, curry leaves, coriander leaves and ginger paste. Mix it well and keep it aside for ten minutes.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
- Make small lemon sized balls out of the above thick mixture.
- Flatten them slightly and deep fry it on both sides till they become golden brown in color.
- Carrot vada¦s are ready. Serve hot with sambar.
