Zebra Cake
I was so fascinated by this Zebra Cake that I wanted to give it a try.Everybody is familiar with this chocolate and vanilla cake, either made in zebra or marbled style, the taste of it reminds of childhood probably for many of us. Still a bit warm,

  • Maida : 1 cup –
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp –
  • baking powder 1 tbsp –
  • Baking soda : 1 tsp –
  • butter 100 g –
  • Sugar : 1 cup –
  • Egg 3 no. –
  • Vanilla essence : 1 tsp –
  1. in a bowl add butter and sugar blend well with blender
  2. add egg and vanilla essence and blend it
  3. in another bowl add maida, cornflour, baking powder and and baking soda and mix well.
  4. add the maida mix with the butter mixture and blend well and make as a thick batter
  5. divide the batter into two and add coco powder to one of the batter and mix well
  6. in a baking pan greeze the butter and dust the maida and add one scoop of venilla batter and other of coco batter,
  7. pour the batter like alternate scoop
  8. preheat the oven 180 c for 10 mins and bake the cake for 45 mins, after 45 mins remove from oven and allow to cool
  9. now zebra cake is ready to serve
